TAXES, TAXES, TAXES -- Supervisor Ally Miller opposed the FY 2018/19 tax levy and collection.  As the "lone voice of the people," Supervisor Ally Miller once again showed her support for the taxpayers in rejecting the FY 2018/19 Tax Levy and Collection Resolutions.  As stated at the meeting, this is probably the most important hearing of the year

Pima County Attorney Flagg defends Supervisor Ally Miller's right to respond at the Call to the Public.  Supervisor Bronson calls out "point of order," but the ploy didn't work.  Attorney Flagg responds that Supervisor Miller has every right to defend herself when criticized at the end of the Call to the Public.  Miller's comment re the Arizona "Red Star" and "fake news" met with applause from the audience.

August 21, 2018 -- Today my office received a communication from President Donald Trump which I want to share with you.  In his letter, President Trump reminds each one of us to highlight "the important work that the men and women of ICE and CBP do each day to enforce our Nation's laws and to procect our communities."  I ask you to join me in supporting President Trump's call to action in support of the men and women of ICE and CBP.
